Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox won a scholarship award to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. Lennox was paid a allowance and worked part-time in order to make ends meet. Lennox did not feel content with her abilities compared to others at the Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox began her career in the year 1976 in the band Dragons Playground. She quit the group prior to their appearance in I.T.V's talent program New Faces. The singer was the primary singer for The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. It was during this time that she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she formed the pop duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began to work for her debut album as a solo artist Diva that was released in the year 1992. It was a massive critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in October 2014. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul jazz tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on May 19, 2019. It is a collection comprising four tracks that were composed by Lennox. The E.P. is an accompanying piece to her art installation at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You Go... It's also her debut independently-released album.
