Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo

Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2nd, 1981) is a South African actress, model and TV host. Having started her acting career with her role on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came in the form of her second role, playing Naevia in the historical drama series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on numerous shows over the past 10 years, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Brandt started her role as Mazikeen (the part that was played by Tom Ellis Lauren German, and Kevin Alejandro) in the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer at the beginning of 2016. Brandt was born and was raised in Cape Town South Africa and later immigrated into Auckland New Zealand with her family as a teenager. The actress began her career as a model when she appeared in commercials and print ads. Prior to her rise to recognition as a model, she worked in the field of retail sales and also served as an expert in recruitment for information technology. On the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played Leilani F'auigaese back in 2009, her first big role secured. In 2021, she starred in Spartacus Blood and Sand as a young slave girl Naevia. The role of Naevia was also reprised by her on the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker starred alongside her in three television shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she started to play the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. The role she played in Lucifer is her most famous role that she has played to date. In the show, she is co-starring with Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
