Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son of Richard McCormick. Her father taught at school, as did her mother, who was a housewife. Michael Dennis Kevin, her twin brothers. McCormick has always loved dancing, singing and creating performances with puppets. When she was just 6years old, she won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask whether the actress was looking to pursue a career in show business. McCormick got her first big job in 1964 when she starred in a TV commercial featuring Mattels newest doll Baby Pattaburp. She subsequently starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial before being cast in Wind It up and It's Broken at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned to play the youngest daughter of the trio of towheaded girls on The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick admitted in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick was close to losing her Virginity in the hands of Barry Williams during the five-year period on the program. He was 19. She was 16. The timing would not have had worked out for us, she told me.
